Here are a couple of things you can check before choosing your farming route. It’s all about finding a place that works for you.
If you can’t wipe out Hell Cows, where is the best place to farm in Diablo II Resurrected? The answer is simple but unfortunately not a revelation: there is no single one place that gives the best loot. The snag is that Hell Cows can be a challenge if you don’t have enough AOE (Area of Effect) damage to wipe out large groups of mobs at the same time. Therefore, Hell Cows is still (even after 20 years) one of the most desirable places for players to farm. To put it clinically, it’s about the number of mobs killed per the time you spend in-game. What’s important is that you clear as many mobs as possible, as fast as you can, it’s a matter of quantity not MF quality.
That has been proven wrong as a person with less than 200% MF can still find high-end gear and runes, just as well as a player with over 400% MF. One myth is that farming is all about how much MF (Magic Find) you stack. As you gather your builds, piece by painstaking piece, for each of your characters, you will start becoming stronger and be granted more options as to where you can farm.
